Hardware & Software requirements

To run this system at its full capability you will need a copy of Photoshop and a program to print postscript files from.

We recommend the combination of Photoshop and Illustrator,

however instead of illustrator, you can also use

Quark Xpress, Pagemaker, or Adobe In Design.

Corel Draw can also be used with diminished capabilities.

Works with Photoshop 6 and 7 CS1 CS2

Screenprint Separator files are relatively small compared to conventional files, which means you don't have to unnecessarily upgrade to run it.

Adobe Photoshop REQUIREMENTS

• 256-color (8-bit) display adapter (24-bit color recommended)

• CD-ROM drive

• Sound card recommended for viewing interactive tutorial files

Current version will not work with OSX.

OSX version will be released this year.

• 32MB of RAM, with 20 MB available for Adobe Illustrator (64 MB recommended)

and Adobe Illustrator 6.0 and Adobe Illustrator 7-8 -9 and -CS1 CS2

Corel Draw X3

* These separations can be used with Corel Draw 8.0 or higher.

The plates will appear on their own individual layers in Corel

however each plate will have to be converted to spot color manually.

Corel is unable to draw the color bars automatically.

Works with Photoshop 4.0 and up and Photoshop 5.0 ,5.5 and 6-7 CS1- CS2 Corel Draw X3

Any computer already running Photoshop is ready to run Screenprint Separator.

A color printer is required for proofing.

Inexpensive ink jet printers such as the Epson stylus work fine.

Output can be done on a laser printer or any postscript device.

Separations can be printed on ink jets.
