High resolutions are achieved on lower mesh counts by printing 40,000 equal sized dots per square inch.

If one dot washes out, they all do.

Halftones have a sandpaper feel to them compared to the smooth single layer of ink created by

thousands of butt registered squares.

Would you trust this angel face to anything but square dots?

As you can see the square dots on the right blend smoothly into a single soft layer of ink on the fabric.

This image is printed at 189 pixels per inch on 230 tpi mesh - more than ten times the resolution of a 55 line screen.

No, this is not a new virus.

Here is an extreme close up of plastisol printed in squaredots on a black shirt.

Notice the blending of the colors into a single even layer covering the garment.

This is the reason Index prints look so stunning on dark garments.
